This was sort of a cool gig. A leasing company contacted me back in June about photographing one of their malls that had recently been renovated. The outside of this mall had been totally redone from one end to the other. The challenge here was to show the entire structure, ( which was the length of an entire city block) and still give the picture some kind of dynamic. A bit of a challenge since a helicopter wasn't in the budget.
It took me a couple tries to get the elevated evening shot. The poor little lift I was using was the Volkswagen Bug of scissor lifts. I needed something closer to a Ferrari to get me from one end of the parking lot to the other without the sun going down. I had to go back a few times to get the angles but it was worth it. This place looks way cool and my client was very happy.
